Silver Beaver Award Recipients

The Silver Beaver is a national award presented by the local council; it is the highest honor a local council may bestow upon a Scouting volunteer. Nominations for the Silver Beaver awards consist of three parts:

  • Noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth
  • Exceptional service to the BSA
  • Service or standing within the community or community organization

The first awards were presented in the Greater Cleveland Council in 1931. This form will allow you to locate Scouters from our council that have received the award by Year and/or Last Name.
